At Eastpak®, we rigorously test all our products to ensure that they meet stringent standards. Therefore, if a problem occurs with an Eastpak® product (the "Product") and the problem is caused by manufacturing defects in material or workmanship, we will, in our discretion, either fix or replace the Product in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions stated here. This warranty applies only to the person who has purchased the Product or to the person who has received the Product as a gift.

How to return your item under warranty

If an item you purchased from the Eastpak.com website is damaged or defective, we're here to help.

Step 1: Please contact us at Eastpakwarranty_belgium@vfc.com and include the following information in your email:

  • Full name
  • Order number

  1. A photo of the entire product
  2. A close-up of the defect
  3. A photo of the internal label showing the product number (starts with E...)

Step 2: Once your claim is approved, please click on this link, complete the repair form, include it in the package and send it to us using the label provided.

As part of our warranty policy, damaged or defective items have to be returned to the original point of sale.

Can't return it to the original retailer?

If you can’t return your item to the original retailer or if the defect is no longer covered by the warranty, you can still send it for a repair at your own cost.

Please click the link and fill in the required information. Our Warranty Centre will review your request to determine if it's covered. If it is, we'll take care of the repairs or replacement and cover the return shipping for you.

What is covered by the warranty policy?

Covered during the legal warranty term:

Only manufacturing and/or component defects are covered during the legal warranty term. This includes faulty zippers and buckles, fabric discoloration and coating peeling off.

The warranty policy does not cover damage caused by misuse (such as carrying heavy or unusual items), neglect, exposure to extreme temperatures or substances, water, and wear and tear.

How long is my item covered by the warranty?

The warranty period of your item can be found on the internal care label. If no warranty period is visible on the label, the legal warranty term will be applied.

What if I can’t find my Eastpak.com order number?

If you can’t find your Eastpak.com order number,contact our Customer Care team.

What if I can’t find my proof of purchase?

If you can’t find your proof of purchase, you can still send your item for repair using the instructions above. We can use the internal care label to determine the age of your item.

How much does it cost to return my product?

Your return is free of charge if:

  •  You purchased directly from the Eastpak.com website and this is the first time you're returning the product.
  •  You purchased from another Eastpak retailer and can arrange the return directly with them.

You will have to return the product at your own cost if:

  •  The Eastpak retailer you purchased it from cannot accept your return.
  •  If the item was not purchased from an official retailer

Limited Global Warranty

This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage caused by misuse (such as transportation of unusual items), neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear or transport damage (by airlines, for example); cosmetic damage like scratches, dents, stains, colour changes or other non-functional changes in the appearance of the Product are also excluded. If your Product is damaged in transit, file a complaint with the carrier at the point of arrival, if possible before the customs clearance procedure. While non-warranty maintenance or repairs on your Product can be performed by any company, we require that you use only our Eastpak® Warranty Center ("Warranty Center") for any warranty repairs. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs will void this warranty.

Please do not send your Product directly to Eastpak® as this will only result in additional costs. For direct shipments, you will be responsible for all costs of getting the Product to any such Warranty Center including, but not limited to, the cost of packaging, shipping and applicable taxes. Instead use our nominated physical retailers or online ecommerce platforms, where you bought the Product, to return the Product.

For any service at a Warranty Center, you will need to send a copy of your original receipt of purchase, as well as the completed repair document (found on this page) together with your claimed Product. The Warranty Center will determine whether the problem is covered by our Eastpak® warranty or not. Any repair or replacement, covered by our warranty, will be at our expense, including any costs required to return the repaired or replacement Product back to you. If the Product needs replacing but is no longer available, we will substitute your original Product for a comparable Eastpak® Product.

Incidental and consequential damages are not covered by this warranty, nor are labor charges or damages attributable to work performed by anyone other than a Warranty Center. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties are therefore excluded. This warranty is limited to the value of the Product. Manufacturing specifications are subject to change without notice. Please note that some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

With regards to our luggage items with locks: locks are intended only to prevent accidental opening and cannot necessarily prevent theft of the Product or its contents, breakage or entry by airline or airport personnel or governmental authorities. Inspect your Product immediately after handling by anyone other than you. If damaged in transit, submit a claim to the transit company (which is insured against damaging your Product) at the place of arrival, if possible, before clearing customs.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights; any additional rights you may have will vary from state to state or country to country with respect to the exclusion or application of implied warranties, incidental and consequential damages and repair and replacement. Consequently, the limitations or exclusions specifically contained in this warranty may not be applicable to you.
